Even though Kaia Gerber might not be walking the catwalk this season, she still attended Paris Fashion Week. In celebration of her most recent project with Zara, Gerber threw a sophisticated house party in the middle of Paris. The evening's east meets west setting couldn't have been more wonderful and suited for the California native since it was once the residence of renowned Japanese fashion designer Kenzo Takada.
Kaia Gerber might not be walking the runway this season, but that doesn't mean she ignored Paris Fashion Week. Gerber had a chic house party in the center of Paris to celebrate her most recent endeavor with Zara. The evening's east meets west setting, which was perfect and appropriate for the California native, was once the residence of the renowned Japanese fashion designer Kenzo Takada.
The vibe of the evening mirrored Gerber's source of inspiration for the Kaia x Zara collection. Gerber stated, "I wanted the collection to feel really authentic. "I would wear these pieces, and they could be for anyone."
Along with her co-host and Zara chair, Marta Ortega, Gerber was joined by friends and some of the biggest names in fashion, including Karlie Kloss, Eve Jobs, Michel Gaubert, Eva Chen, Remo Ruffini, Nora Attal, Emmanuelle Alt, Rianne Van Rompaey, Karl Templer, Guido Palau, and Abby Champion.
Renowned chef Cyril Lignac served specialty dishes from the open kitchen all night long, in between serving fiery margaritas and Moscow mules. Highlights include a light tomato and watermelon salad and a carpaccio of fresh fish.

Gerber's friends came over in force, and they were drinking cocktails in the shady outdoor dining area. The low-back silk slip dress, the knit turtleneck tank dress, and the cut-out leather skirt with a matching top are all examples of Kaia x Zara clothing. Naturally, Gerber sported a dainty bralette and a black suit set to perfectly portray a model off-duty. Gerber grinned and said, "What I love about Parisian style is that it's relaxed and understated but still very chic. We made a real effort to convey that in the collection.
The Kaia x Zara collection is now available in select shops and on Zara.com
