Target has become an unlikely destination for runway-worthy pieces at budget-friendly prices thanks to its many collaborations with high-end designers—and you can shop its most anticipated one yet right now. You don't have to be a Saks (or even Nordstrom) regular to get your dream wardrobe this year—just go to Target.

Sergio Hudson, Kika Vargas, and La Ligne are among the designers chosen for 2022's fall designer collection, which will be available on the retailer's website and in select stores on October 9.

Each capsule is inspired by the main lines of the brands, but with ultra-accessible twists: Pieces range in size from XXS to 4XL and cost $40 or less. (The most expensive items are two coats for $70.)

The pieces are current yet trend-proof—think dependable sweaters, work-ready trousers, and airy wrap blouses—and designed for layering, so they'll fit seamlessly into your existing fall wardrobe and last you all winter.

The 2022 schedule is jam-packed with brands to watch, much like last year's fall designer collection, which featured Christopher John Rogers and Sandy Liang. Fortunately, investing in these labels has never been easier; unfortunately, we can almost guarantee that the capsules will sell out quickly.

La Ligne

La Ligne was founded in 2016 by former fashion editors Valerie Macaulay and Meredith Melling, as well as industry veteran Molly Howard, and its cult-favorite knitwear is a perennial favorite among Net-a-Porter and Nordstrom shoppers—and it's now available at Target as well. Come for the cozy, sporty sweaters you'll live in all season, and stay for the reception-ready dresses that will elevate your wedding-guest look.

In her eponymous line, Bogotá-born designer Kika Vargas combines the whimsical and the wearable. Her Target capsule is no exception: Scalloped hems, Ganni-esque collars, voluminous silhouettes, and loud prints abound, bringing a playful energy to the fall outfits you're envisioning.
